Alumni and faculty

The Academy’s excellence is maintained by its dedicated faculty of 380 highly qualified teachers. 65% of this number have academic degrees and titles, of which 12% hold a professorship or have a doctor’s degree.

17 representatives of the Academy’s teaching staff were awarded honorary titles of the Russian Federation. 14 academicians and corresponding members having credentials of various Russian Academies are working now in the Academy.

Nearly 27000 students have successfully completed the course of study in the Academy, including 300 overseas students from 38 countries of Europe, Asia, Africa, America.

Quite a number of the Academy’s alumni have become prominent state and economic managers, outstanding scientists. Among them are: V.P. Orlov, Chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of Russian Federation, V.G. Klyuyev, Minister of Light Industry, A.M. Paramonov, Minister of Textile Industry of Russian Federation and many others.
